Served as co-chair for LGBT People in Medicine, OHSU's chapter of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Health Action Committee of the American Medical Student Association (AMSA). Raised awareness of LGBT patient issues by organizing demonstrations and hosting multiple lunch-time talks with medical professionals and community leaders. Sold rainbow caducei for white coat adornment to serve as visual cues for LGBT patients. Planned and executed many well attended social activities.
